The Power of Intention

When things do not appear to be going the way you had hoped they would, it is time to examine your original intention.  Intention is very powerful, but it is only as powerful as the focus you place upon it.  It is one thing to nonchalantly think that you would really love to have or be or do something.  It is something else entirely to put your everything into making it a reality.  Most of us are very excited when we first have an idea.  We might plan.  We might tell others when things go our way.

But what happens when you wake up one day and are uncertain of how you ended up there?  When it’s been so long since you’ve even thought about what you really wanted in the first place?  It’s time to go back and examine your original intention.

Are you on the path your are on by chance?  There is no such thing as chance or coincidence.  You are where you are today because of the thoughts you have been thinking and the actions you have been taking in your life.  It is a direct cause and effect relationship.

That might be a little difficult for you to swallow if you’re used to having someone else to blame when things don’t work out the way you want.   It’s time to be honest with yourself and realize that you are the only person who can make a decision that impacts you.  When was the last time you actually thought about what you wanted or believed that it was possible?

Think back to why you got on the path you are on to begin with.  There must have been a reason, some overriding desire or hope.  Examine it honestly and REMEMBER.  Everything you need to know is within.  Does the original reason, your true intention, still exist?  If so, it is time to take guided action to get back on track.  When you put your power behind your intention, it makes it appear much more rapidly as a physical manifestation.  If things haven’t been going the way you’d like, it may be because you have not put your power behind your intention.  When you realize the disservice to your own spirit, you will want to change.  You will know that you are the only one with the power to make that change.  You will not want to delay one more second from achieving your goals and dreams because they will once again be all important to you as they once were before you allowed yourself to fall asleep and forget.

When You Come to a Crossroads

Everyone has had those times in their lives when they have to make a decision.  You might have to choose one thing over another.  You can’t have both.  It is especially difficult when the things you are choosing between are both good.  It’s even more difficult when they are similar.  At that time, there just isn’t a WRONG decision.

We often tend to procrastinate and put off making these types of decisions.  But what do you do when you have a time limit, say two days?

It’s time to do some serious soul searching.  Which option do you prefer?  You need to pick what is the right decision for you–not others.  If we always base our decisions upon whether or not it will inconvenience others, you will never make a choice that is based on your own needs, and more importantly, desires.  You might also be cutting off your abundance.  If you take the tried and true, the safe route, is that the best choice for your wellbeing?  Not always.

It all comes down to your motivation and what you feel passionate about.  Will this decision put your closer to or further away from your goal?  The possibilities are truly endless.  You don’t need to settle for something because it is the only option that is appearing at the moment.  It is best to be patient and wait for the right opportunity to arise as it invariably will if you are following your guidance.

Is there a Law of Success?

I’ve been reading The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill.  This is a book which outlines the “Mastermind” phenomena.  I’m sure you’ve heard of such groups forming in your neighborhood.  I’ve never been personally attracted to any mastermind groups, but this book came highly recommended to me.  I have to say that I am only about half done with this book.  It is over 600 pages!

I am finding, however, that this book does outline many common-sense attitudes that could easily contribute to success.  For example, this is a 15-part course with everything you need to know to be a success.  The anecdotes are often related to sales since the author was in sales.  This makes sense because no matter what you are doing with your life, you are selling something.  You might be selling your skill, your personality, or selling on someone else’s behalf.  It doesn’t matter.

The way to achieve success is to have “A Definite Chief Aim.”  This would be the overriding goal that is guiding all your actions.  If you are just getting up and going to work, then coming home to sit in front of the TV, you DO NOT have a definite chief aim or goal in life.  Your first assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to FIND ONE!

We all need to do some soul searching to allow ourselves to realize what we feel passionate about.  This doesn’t always come to us easily.  We may need to delve into past heartaches and issues we may not want to deal with, but that is what is necessary for growth.  Who wants to stagnate?

Some other important traits that Hill espouses are: self-confidence, the habit of saving, initiative, enthusiasm, and self-control.  These are all traits of well-rounded people.  I would have a hard time arguing with Hill over his choice of skills that are required to be a success.  I’ve read books by Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, and others, and all say the same things in slightly different ways.  If you want to be a success, take heed!  Take responsibility for your own future.  Don’t blame others when things go wrong (or yourself).  Other than that, just have a goal.  The Law of Success is just a law of living well and understanding the sometimes hidden meanings in everyday events.

Walking IS Meditation

I just read an article that someone put up on Twitter.  The amazing article explains that research is being done to confirm some things that we already know.  Open green spaces help to reduce stress and keep us all healthy.  I remember when I was living in Hoboken, NJ, and attending Stevens Institute of Technology.  I lived on campus for a couple of years before moving a few miles north to West New York.  Anyway, it was less than a five-minute walk to get down to the Hudson River.  I used to go and walk there at night.  Or I’d go and walk there when I was upset about something.  Walking out in nature, especially near bodies of water, helps you to think.  It’s okay to think about things that are bothering you.  It is not good to sweep it under the carpet and pretend these things don’t exist.  If you give yourself enough time to deal with things that are going on in your life, you will work them out for yourself.  Meditation also helps, but as I wrote in my personal essay that I submitted with my application to Stevens, walking IS meditation.  Walking, even when you are also thinking, helps you to go into an altered state where you can work on issues of concern.  This is much better than holding hurt or pain or worry inside.  Give it a try.  You’ll feel better about yourself and the world around you.

Offering Distant Unicorn Energy Healing Attunements

I am a Master of the Unicorn Energy Healing System(c).  I am now offering distant attunements into this amazing energy.  The Unicorns use high vibrational energy to effect healing.  The energy gets stronger the more you use it.  If you are clairvoyant, you can see the colors of the energy change over time, but it is often a deep golden light that can penetrate the cellular tissues.  It feels like a different vibration from Reiki, so I don’t recommend using the two together.  If you would like to become attuned to this energy and discover how to use it in your healing practice, please send me an email at for more information and current rates.  You can be anywhere in the world.  Payment by Paypal in US Dollars.
