Recognizing the Energy of Prosperity in your Life

This is quoted from the Abundance Book by John Randolph Price in The 40 Day Prosperity Plan.  I will be taking you on a journey to your internal core of prosperity and abundance.  Just remember that the energy was always within you.  You just have to recognize it.

We start by meditating on and reading the following words:

“This day, Sunday, July 29, 2012, I cease believing in visible money as my supply and my support, and I  view the world of effect as it truly is . . . simply an outpicturing of my former beliefs.  I believed in the power of money, therefore I surrendered my God-given power and authority to an objectified belief.  I believed in the possibility of lack, thus causing a separation in consciousness from the Source of my supply.  I believed in mortal man and carnal conditions, and through this faith gave men and conditions power over me.  I believed in the mortal illusion created by the collective consciousness of error thoughts, and in doing so, I have limited the Unlimited.  No more!  This day I renounce my so-called humanhood and claim my divine inheritance as a Be-ing of God.  This day I acknowledge God and only God as my substance, my supply and my support.”

Be True to Yourself

Do you often find yourself giving in to others when you would really rather not?  Do you find yourself going on a date with someone just because they asked, even though they don’t excite you in any way?  Did you end up in a job you hate, because you’re afraid you won’t be able to find another one?

It’s time to take a real hard look at what you’re doing to yourself.  What are you getting out of it?  You end up in a place that does not feel authentic to you.

You need to get back to a place where you trust and respect your own instincts.  It does you no good to make everyone else happy and feel miserable all the time.  If everything in you is telling you “No”, don’t do it.  Trust that there is something there that is not in your best interests.

If you are already in this position, know that there are no mistakes in this life.  You have a lesson to learn.  Make sure you learn it this time around so that you don’t end up in the same situation over and over again.  Often we repeat the patterns–not even seeing the pattern unless someone else points it out to us.

An essential tool to releasing this endless circle you may find yourself in is to be aware.  Be here now.  Pay attention to everything.  The slightest sign of discomfort is the first sign that you need to really think about what you’re doing before you act.  Discomfort may be a sign of growth, but here, I’m talking about something more than that.  Especially take note if you feel anything in your solar plexus.  This may signal that there is an issue where you are not acting on your own internal power.  If you are true to yourself, 99 percent of the time you will feel great.  When you deny your feelings and take action based on the beliefs of others, you won’t feel good.

Trust yourself.  Trust that you know what is best for you.  Don’t give your power over to others.  Take back control of your life starting now.  Be true to yourself.

The Power of Choice

Everyday we are given a choice.  We can continue to do things the way we always have, or we can change everything.  What most people don’t realize is that we have a choice.

At this time of year, many people make resolutions.  They resolve to make huge changes in their lives and then give up when they don’t get instant results.  They stay in jobs that don’t support them spiritually because they support them financially.  They don’t make any efforts and expect things to come to them.

Every single day that you wake up you are given a choice.  You can continue as you always have, or you can make one tiny change.  Yes, you heard me right.  Just one little thing is enough to let the universe know that you are serious about accepting and allowing change into your life.  We are infinitely powerful spiritual beings who can begin improving the world by improving ourselves.

You can usher joy into your life with the new year.  There is no need to stay with a partner who doesn’t suit you or harms you in any way.  It is okay to be alone.  If you are unhappy in your current position, you can begin to look for another job that is more in line with your values.  If you’d like to lose weight, you can cut out one unhealthy food item and add one fruit or vegetable in its place.  You don’t need to make a sudden drastic change–unless of course you are being guided to.

The most important thing to remember is to be true to yourself.  You know when you are participating in activities that go against your personal beliefs.  Now, today, this minute, is the time to come clean with yourself, to admit that you need a change, and to take responsibility for the choices you CAN make in your life.
